I was born in 1969 in Aslanköy, Mersin. I completed my education here until the second year of high school. I graduated as the top student from Mersin Atatürk High School. I ranked 67th nationwide in Turkey and was admitted to the English program of Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. After graduating, I passed the US Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) but chose not to go to the United States. I completed my cardiology residency at Ankara Türkiye Yüksek İhtisas Hospital and started working at Mersin State Hospital in 1998. There, I established the angiography unit.
In 2013, I began working full-time at Mersin Forum Yaşam Hospital and part-time at İMC Hospital for interventional procedures. I retired on May 15, 2024. I am fluent in advanced English and have contributed to both national and international scientific publications and conferences.
